Cake Information


All cakes can be produced using either a Rich Fruit, Light Fruit, Plain or Chocolate Sponge or Madeira… These are the most common choices but, other types of cake can be made upon request.
My fruit cakes contain a small amount of alcohol. They do not contain nuts, but these can be added upon request.

I can supply gluten free and egg-less cakes if required.

Please note: Cakes may contain Nuts or Nut Products and have been prepared in a kitchen where Nuts are used.

Cake Storage and Shelf Life

Cakes should be stored in a cool dark place on a flat sturdy surface in the box supplied.

Never put your cake in a fridge. The icing will sweat and the colours will run when the cake returns to room temperature.

Madeira sponge and chocolate cake will keep for one week after collection.

Fruitcake will last well for months but not years.


I provide a delivery and set-up service at a small additional cost.

Cake stand and knife hire

All prices quoted are for 3 days hire. A deposit is required for each stand hired, this will be refunded upon return of the stand in the same condition as when it was hired.

Any damage or scratches will forfeit the deposit paid.

The hire price and deposit are payable at the start of the hire period.

The design and amount of decoration on your chosen cake obviously affects the final price.

For this reason I do not include prices on the website. This will be discussed at the time of ordering, or if you prefer, you can phone or use the enquiry form for a quote.

However, I am confident that my prices remain competitive, and provide excellent value for money.
